**lgbt thing (sorry it's sad)**

So, I was originally going to make an unannounced joke about how I'm watching the Reacting To Anti-Gay Commercials Because I'm Gay series for probably the hundredth time, but then when I was watching it, I thought about something I hadn't in a while.

Those of you that have watched the series probably remember one part where a man says that gay characters in shows and films always wear the best outfits, give the best advice, and are never portrayed in a negative manner, and the first several times I watched it, my first thought was, "Yeah, because lgbt people get a bunch of shit already and they don't want to make it worse," but then, I thought about it even more and realized that for every gay side character (note: almost never main characters unless it's a movie specifically about sexuality) there's probably five gay villains. Like, that's really messed up? I mean, This is seen even more in video games. A guy named MatPat (Game Theory) even made a whole video dedicated to this idea a few years back (a year? I don't even know) called Are Video Games Anti-Gay? and explains it probably ten times better than me, but I just-?? It's so fucked up??? Also, to add onto it, the lgbt villains are often mentally ill as well, so let that sit for a minute.

Sorry this wasn't positive, but we don't talk about this enough. I think I've seen a couple people mention it, but it needs some more thought. Our community is being sold to others as antagonistic and dangerous, something almost all of us aren't. We deserve better than this rude publicity, so I just thought I'd say something. Sorry to bother you, guys. Love you all.

Wow. I was really freaked because I thought I might have to deal with some homophobes or something, but I've been pleasantly surprised (granted, I probably should've known considering my following is mainly lgbt people but I'm anxious, okay?)

“Why is it that villains, and not protagonists are always the ones breaking gender roles hmmmmm?
It’s called queercoding and it’s intentional and basically brainwashes kids into having negative associations with those traits”

Brought to you by the tumblr intellectuals.

I honest to god hate when companies do that. We're not all flamboyant and in your face about our sexuality, some of us, including me, don’t find the necessity to show who we like and don’t really tell people. I actually did tell people A LOT of people because some kids would be making homophobic comments and to stop them, I had to come out to them.

Can we just take a minute to appreciate gender fluid people? They're honestly so beautiful, and if you're gender fluid and reading this, just know that you're absolutely amazing. You're brave enough to be yourself which is more than I can say for most people, and you deserve the world. Please don't hate who you are just because some people are too ignorant to understand.

I gotchu, friend *finger guns*

Of course! Gender fluid people are one of most underappreciated LGBT+ groups in existence.

Trans girls can be masculine.

          Trans guys can be feminine.

Being transgender is about gender, not masculinity and femininity. Stop saying that if a trans girl's masculine or a trans boy's feminine, they're not actually trans. It's okay for cis girls to be tomboys, and it's becoming more acceptable for cis guys to have feminine interests. There should be no difference with trans people. I think sometimes people forget that trans boys are still boys and trans girls are still girls, but they are. Leave them alone. They deserve better.

Fun fact: whenever I get excited or stressed, my Gay Voice™ comes in to play. No joke. My solution for stress… is my gay. (10/10 would recommend, tbh.)

Also, side note to my side note, Marty McFly is actually my role model. Is that bad? Maybe. I don't know. (Marty McFly? More like Marty McFLEEK, am I right?)

Side note to my side note to my side note, I'm sorry I post so many unimportant things. I just get very excited over small things. Thank you guys for dealing with me.

Bitchy_Bisexual

Same.

Gay: *whispers as I look through the closet I'm still stuck in* /Pick the flannel./

Wait. New theory: what if the metaphorical closet is full of flannels and that's why gays wear so much of it??
