I am not a writer by profession but someone who likes to tell stories.  In high school, I had spend most of my free time writing down my stories and poems.  Now days my time is spent working on my different crafts.

There was one poem that I had written high school that was published in the semi-annual school poetry magazine.  Years later, I had entered the same poem in a poetry contest and it was published.  I even had one of my poems set to music by a teacher/friend of mine which was recorded by musician friends in one take.
