Dear Readers,

          	How was your day today?

I hope you drank enough water, ate something good, and allowed yourself to rest even for a little while. Life can become overwhelming sometimes, especially when everything feels like it’s happening all at once. So before anything else, I just want to ask — are you doing okay?

If things have been difficult lately, please know that you don’t always have to pretend to be strong every second of the day. It’s okay to feel tired. It’s okay to feel lost sometimes. Life isn’t easy, and everyone carries battles that others may never fully see.

But even so, I hope you don’t give up on yourself.

No matter how heavy today feels, you’ve already survived so many hard days before this one. And somehow, despite everything, you are still here. That alone says so much about your strength.

Please remember that bad days do not define your whole life. Difficult moments will pass, even if slowly. There are still better memories waiting for you, people waiting to meet you, dreams waiting to happen, and peaceful days you haven’t experienced yet.

So take things one step at a time, okay?

          	Rest when you need to.
          	Cry if you have to.
But don’t forget to keep going.

And while reading my story, I hope you feel a little less alone somehow. Thank you for spending your time here with me and my characters. Your support means more than you know.

No matter what happens, I believe you can get through it.

          	With love,
          	Your Author ✨

          To my dear readers,

I want to share one this day "story time" moments with you – my friend Collages celebrated her birthday at Jollibee.

For those who might not be familiar with Jollibee, it's more than just a place to eat – it's a feeling. While many notice its bright, friendly character, what truly makes it special isn't just how it looks. It's the joy that fills every corner of those restaurants, the warmth that wraps around you the moment you step inside. It's like opening a door to your childhood again – a place that heals our inner child, bringing back all those simple, happy memories we sometimes forget we have.

At Collages' birthday celebration, we laughed until our sides hurt, shared stories, and savored every bite together.

That day, I realized something beautiful:
no matter how old we grow or what responsibilities we carry, we never outgrow the need to experience pure, uncomplicated happiness. Jollibee gave us exactly that – something we'll carry in our hearts forever. It taught us that joy isn't just for children, and it doesn't disappear as we age. It's always there, waiting for us to notice it, to embrace it, and to let ourselves enjoy every single moment of it.

As I look back on that day, I'm reminded of this truth:

"Life is not about waiting for the storm to pass, but learning to dance in the rain. Every moment is a gift – so take it with both hands, savor it deeply, and never stop finding reasons to smile. Whether you're young or young at heart, the best parts of life are always the moments you choose to enjoy fully."

May we all remember to hold onto that childlike wonder, to seek out joy wherever we go, and to live each day with the same happiness and gratitude that filled that little celebration at Jollibee.

          With love and happy memories,
          Your author-nim

@BlacShkye you’re right! Oftentimes we neglect our inner child - especially now. We’re constantly being faced with different challenges and trials in life, and we forget to see the beauty of the simplicity of life. And because we’re so distracted, we forget to appreciate the beauty of now. We forget the importance of our presence in the present. Life is short but simple. It doesn’t need to be exaggerated nor complicated, it just needs to be savored and experienced. Like what I’ve said in TBS3, life has no reset button. We can’t undo the things we did before. We can only learn from it. And in the process, we see the neglected inner child that we have within us. We no longer have that child-like wonder in our eyes. We forget to be in awe and appreciate the things around us. We should always have that child-like wonder always because it makes us grounded and it shows us the beauty of life through the lens of our childhood,

To my dearest readers,

As we celebrate Mother’s Day today, my heart is full thinking of each and every one of you who turns the pages of my stories.

To every mother, grandmother, stepmother, foster mother, mother figure, and expectant mom among you: you are the true heroes of everyday life. Your love is patient, your strength is inspiring, and your kindness leaves a mark on everyone you meet. Just like the characters I write, you hold stories of resilience, joy, and unconditional love that deserve to be told and celebrated.

Thank you for supporting my work and for being such an incredible part of this journey. May your day be filled with sweet moments, warm hugs, and all the love you so generously give to others coming right back to you.

Happy Mother’s Day to you all!

          With love,
          Your Author-nim

          To everyone and to Myself;

          You are not behind.
          You are not failing.
          You are not “too much.”

          You are growing.

And growth feels uncomfortable. It feels like doubt. It feels like overthinking. It feels like “Am I even good enough?”

But the fact that you care this much?
That’s proof you’re meant for more.

          You feel deeply.
          You reflect.
          You want to improve.
          You want to love better.
          You want to write better.
          You want to become better.

That is not weakness. That is power in progress.

Some people stay the same forever.
You? You question yourself because you want to evolve.

          Listen to me:

The version of you in one year will be so proud you didn’t give up right now.

Keep writing even when you doubt your words.
Keep loving even when you’ve been hurt.
Keep choosing yourself even when it feels lonely.

You are becoming someone strong, not someone cold.

          And that difference?
          It matters.

You’re doing better than you think.

@BlacShkye growing is not a sign of insensitivity, but of maturity. We grow because we want to improve something in us. We grow because we evolve. That is our human nature. We always evolve because want to improve something in ourselves. Yes, we are not the same person years ago. We have improved ourselves a lot. We’ve faced a lot of setbacks and challenges throughout the years. Those setbacks have forged us into something better because we’re tested in fire. We have fallen and stumbled before, but we have risen above it. We’re not allowing ourselves to just stay there fallen forever. (Again, we evolve). We see beyond and aspire to be something greater than we were before. And we don’t have to compete with others. We run this race at our own pace. We ask ourselves when we doubt ourselves because we feel deep down that there’s a need to improve - to evolve. We feel this sense of unease because we want to improve ourselves. We want to better ourselves. And the cycle of evolution continues as long as we have that desire to improve ourselves for the better.
