@BoyloveBL1 well firstly, don't apologize to me for whatever you say especially if it's asking questions. I honestly don't mind :) It's always interesting to know the real you instead of who you think people want to know because being fake is a personality trait that's hard to keep up with. And if you're nervous or shy, don't force yourself to be the opposite of that. People need to learn to welcome all personalities and not just pick and choose. We're humans after all, not vegetables at a supermarket. I was nervous too with that app but the more people you talk to, the more comfortable you get. The nerves don't disappear, they just get easier to manage. Slowly but surely. Usually, in my case, if they don't text back, I just say "ok! That's rude" and I move on. At the end of the day, I was being nice so I have nothing weighing on my conscious. And I get you, sometimes finding new friends can be hard but if a change needs to happen it must happen. And if they are rude and you know how sensitive you are, try your very best to forget about it. I know certain words are hard to forget but if you keep yourself distracted with something else and don't dwell, you will eventually forget. Not everyone is nice and it's something you will have to deal with. But that shouldn't stop you from wanting to make new friends. Like I said before, you'll find your people (the kind that understand you without judgement and still want to be your friend) :)
