Blackwell Stern grew up in the Caribbean Sea below the surface of the water. On his 18th birthday he grew wings and flew out of the water to find who he is, and on his quest he learned the art of word craft from Japanese monks. He crossed the Sahara with nothing more than a melon on his back. Now, searching for his origins, he writes stories using Pentagon computers and no one's the wiser.
