Hey everyone!

It's been a little under a year since I last went on this site, and honestly, it's brilliant to still see people reading my stuff.
I have been going through a lot of negative change in my life lately, but hopefully things should be more settled now and I can go back to writing again, with a clearer mind and a less negative outlook.
I have already posted the first piece of poetry so it would mean a lot if you could give it a read.

I love you all, and thanks again for the support x

Hey!

Thank you so much for all your previous support with 'Daughters of the King'! I've now started writing a new book called 'To Solve a Crime,' and the first seven chapters are up! It would mean a lot to me if you checked it out! It is a historical fiction/romance/mystery set in the 1950s!

Hey everyone! I've decided to have a go at writing a bit of poetry. Not sure how it is so if you guys could give me some pointers (even if you aren't a poetry buff!) that would be amazing! Thanks x

@willatree2 That's one of the things that made me love writing free verse poetry, because you have such artistic freedom! :)

@BlakeNightshade Thankfully, modern poetry doesn't have to follow any certain set of rules (though many poets like to impose them for a challenge). It is about effectively trying to convey the message you want delivered to your audience, whether it's visual or auditory: poetry can do both. :)

@LookingthroughGlass Thanks a lot, that really helps! I remember I used to think that poems always had to rhyme- so thank goodness I know better! :)
