Hey everyone who is still on this :) I have a question. I just got into reading (idk why I haven’t before) and the itch to write again has resurfaced. Now, I don’t know if you knew this but I am a cis woman who has always identified as pansexual and has always written mainly lgbt+ stories. However nearly 5 years have passed and a lot has changed for me. I really just started my adult life and I’ve come to realize that romances between men and women is what truly interest me at the moment. I am still pan, I think, but I’m definitely (sadly…boring) mostly interested in men. Eww!! This is what I will be writing about in the future. I want to use some of my stories and change them to a heteronormative couple, which may sound totally weird and dumb but in the end it is my story that I love and I want to transform it into a story I would, right now, pick up in a bookstore. (Not saying I will stop reading lgbt+ stories hahah) Now I wanted to ask for your opinion. SHOULD I make a new account and start from scratch with a new audience and upload my stories there OR should I publish my new stories here? I am really not sure. I do have quite a lot followers here so it would make it easier to reach a lot of people but at the same time I feel weird posting straight shit for people who maybe don’t even like that… what do I do?

Please use another account. I am gay and definitely prefer not to read hetero stories. But whatever you do, I will just make sure and read the tags before deciding to read. Congrats though. Defining what one prefers is always a comfortable way to express ourselves.

I would keep what stories you have on here, and do a blurb in your bio about what you are planning to write about, starting now. People grow, this is you growing as a writer. The old and the new are both parts of you. Just different. If someone doesn’t like it, that’s not on you, that’s on them, be you, you are who we are here for, they should be too.
