BlazingHero019

Hey, sorry for my silence. I've been dealing with writer's block.

BlazingHero019

There's been of a bit of a change of plans. Due to factors in my personal life, I won't be able to write at all during November. I'm hoping to release a few updates for Tragedy Strikes in December. I sincerely apologize for the very long wait.

As a thank you for your patience with the new chapter for Tragedy Strikes, I've decided to share a piece of chapter 2 "Dread". Here you go: Each and every time the Paw Patrol heard those few words from Ryder, it was always a sentence that filled them with determination, motivating them to find out who needed help, and how they could help. No matter the time of day, the weather, or how they've been feeling that day; when Ryder called, the pups answered.

Today was no different, just any other call to help Chickaletta, this was a call that they got often, even more often than a call to come help get Cali, Katie's cat, out of a tree. But something felt different today, the eight pups couldn't place it, but something felt off as the elevator began to rise.

"A-Amigos, is everyone feeling okay? I feel a bit lightheaded." Tracker said as he stumbled slightly, Chase leaning against the Chihuahua to stop him from falling onto the cold floor of the elevator.

"Tracker, with all due respect, I don't think you should come on this mission today, even if you're needed. We trust what you can do, we always have, just like we do for each and every one of us, but clearly you aren't feeling well." Marshall said as Tracker picked himself up, smiling lightly as the elevator continued to rise, just as it always did.

"Marshall I-I'm fine, it's just a bit of lightheadedness, it's nothing I can't handle; especially compared to the treacherous terrain of the jungle and its hostilities." Tracker said as he confidently looked back at Marshall, a cough exiting his muzzle as a small bit of blood splattered onto the glass of the elevator.

See you all hopefully this month for the next chapter!
