Ok so can I get some advice
So my friend told me she cuts, I was obviously worried but we can swim in sport and she had no cuts on her arm but today I saw cuts on her arm and they were real and I don’t know what to do cause I don’t want her hurting herself but I don’t wanna scare her or make her cut more. What do I do??
Thank you so much, the thing that hurts me most about it is that she’s only 12 so I really don’t want her getting into the habit and her mum doesn’t care about her either
Talk to her, tell her how much you care and how much of a honor it is to be the one she vents to, tell her she doesn't need this to be happy, that she will be okay, please, assure her that she is loved and that you care for her, if she's okay with that, talk to her about therapy, maybe if she's not okay with that, a hobbie can be therapeutic too! You mentioned swimming, right? Maybe it helps her!
