How many words should be there in a chapter?? I'm newbie I have no idea about this, could you please help.

It depends on how much you want to take the story forward, a short chapter is 1500 words it takes 2-3mins for a reader to finish, and the longest chapter can be 5k words. So for an average decent chapter can be around 2k to 3k words… I hope that helps. Also what are you writing tag me when you release (twitter: @manvi_bliss )
