          It's been a long year.
          
          Admittedly, I've published nothing here or on AO3 this year.
          
          Hope y'all can excuse me for that, because depression has been whooping my fkin' ass.
          
          I've been writing whenever the inspiration hits, I have hella stories in progress. I just need to finish em and publish.
          
          I know I said awhile I'd write the entire story, instead of publishing chapter by chapter, but a part of me feels that plan may have enabled my laziness.
          
          Forgive me for that.
          
          I'm saying it prematurely, knowing that anything could happen between my time of typing (Dec 25, 2025) and the future, but I'm going to try and lock in with this writing sh!t.
          
          Have a good day today, spend time with your family, if you can and love yourselves. You all deserve it.

          正直に言うと、今年はこのサイトにもAO3にも何も投稿していません。
          
          皆さんがそのことを許してくれることを願います。なぜなら、それがうつ病が私をひどく苦しめている理由だからです。
          
          インスピレーションが湧くたびに書き続けてきました。たくさんの物語が進行中です。あとは仕上げて公開するだけです。
          
          いつか章ごとに公開するのではなく、物語全体を書き上げたのは承知していますが、その計画が私の怠惰を助長したのではないかと感じる部分があります。
          
          お許しください。
          
          私がこれを書いている時点（2025 年 12 月 25 日）から将来までの間に何が起こるかわからないので、時期尚早に言っていますが、私はこの執筆作業に集中しようと努力するつもりです。
          
          今日も良い一日をお過ごしください。できれば家族と時間を過ごして、自分を愛してください。皆さんはそれに値するのです。

I sometimes can't believe I'm two years away from hitting thirty, let alone three years past my expiration date. This living $h!t hasn't been easy and a lot's happened between my last b-day and now. My High School DxD experience is a constant of me saying "Yo, I kinda fw Issei here" or "Oh my god, this man Issei is so f**king buns!"
