It's alright! There's always a chance or time for you to improve Dulce Mors, you just have to wait for the right moment even if it may take a long time lol. Though you don't have to force yourself. Thank you for the wonderful tip, I'm sure it'll be useful! I'll keep in mind whenever I practice writing. :)

            If I were to be honest, looking back on Dulce Mors, there are many places I want to improve (sighhhh not enough time...) however I'm glad you liked the writing! As for tips-- I think the most important thing in a story is having a mind map. A set structure. While I did lack that during the period I wrote Dulce Mors, I covered it well by blaming multiple timelines. You must have an idea of how it will end and how it will begin. 
            
            Another thing is that music helps a LOT. While working on IELTS writings I realized the music you listen to influences everything you write. From grammatical structures to the words you use. Once before writing a task 1 academic writing I made the mistake of listening to a 7th century nordic lullaby. Needless to say that writing sucked. 
            
            ANd the most important is that writing mustn't become homework. You mustn't feel forced to write it. Only when you feel like bringing a new world to life pick up your quill, put it in ink and begin (In our case... type ig. What a shame.)

@FluidlyMinty Aw thank you. I'll do my best. Tbh I'm mostly feeling unmotivated, but after my exams I'll probably begin editing and updating. That'll probably be by the end of june
