Alright, announcement time.
          	
          	I won't lie; I've pretty much given up on my Little Nightmares story. There are several reasons behind it: Firstly, I realized how much of a self-indulgent piece of work it was, and looking back on it honestly kind of disgusts me. Secondly, I just plain moved on to other fanfic ideas that took my interest, especially when the LN fanbase as a whole kind of started to die down in the months before LN2's announcement and even up to its release. Thirdly, the BIGGEST reason... was just the abhorrent shipping in the story. It was gross, it was awful, and even though I was barely a teenager when I wrote that story, it's still something that sends chills up my spine when I look back on it.
          	
          	I AM thinking of re-writing/remaking it, but honestly, I'm not going to make it a guarantee. Apparently, my story has gotten somewhat popular again in recent times, which has driven me to make this announcement. If I do ever end up coming back to my LN story, you can bet it'll have all those cringy moments and nasty stuff thoroughly edited out now that I'm older and at an age where I thoroughly wish I could punch my younger self for even thinking up that crap let alone actually writing it, and I sincerely apologize to anyone rightfully disgusted by the content in it. To those who enjoyed it, thank you for the support; I never thought that as an up-and-coming fanfic author I'd ever have this much attention on a story, and now that I'm older and actually know stuff, hopefully I'll be able to do better if I do decide to commit myself to re-doing it better than before, even if only to make up for the massive screw-ups present in the original story. Again, it's just an "IF", but it's there.

@BloodStalker500 well just take your time to think about it and if you ever put an announcement about continuing the story, I'll wait for you to upload a new chapter.

It was probably my favourite Little nightmares book- no favourite book I’ve read on wattpad, and one of the first. I seriously wanna give it a re-read so a remake would be perfect

@Mrskull100 Thanks, but I can only see it that way solely because of the nature of said ship (anyone else who's read through it knows EXACTLY what I'm talking about). I'm older now anyway, so no way should that kind of thing be condoned, fanfic or otherwise. I'd actually prefer it if people DIDN'T read my LN story now due to the nature of the content, I'm only keeping it posted here for legacy purposes (as in, a reminder to myself - and hopefully others - of how NOT to write a self-insert of any kind). If people still like the story, that's fine I guess, I'm just saying I can't keep writing it because of how gross the shipping nature is, hence why I might completely start over with a (hopefully way better) re-write/remake.

Okay, I know I haven't updated my original Little Nightmares book in a LOOOONG time, mostly due to school both taking up time and forcing me to rest from exhaustion (I think Sept 6 was the last time I uploaded a chapter?). However, I 100% guarantee that I WILL be finishing the next chapter soon, two weeks at max, hopefully by the time Saturday rolls around. I know I've REALLY tested your guys' patience, but please bear with me on this! Again, hopefully by Saturday will this new chapter be finished.

@BloodStalker500 I don't believe you finished it. If you could write 1-3 more chapters, that would be wonderful. I just want closure. I probably haven't read a book, fanfiction or not, this good in 7 years, and I would like to see this amazing story complete.
