I hate that sequels are so conflicting.
          Sometimes they ruin the entire... Series? Like, plot wise, character wise, moral wise, etc.
          They tend to be worse than the first one. Rarely do you see a sequel equally or more mind-blowing than the first. When they are, they tend to turn into movies. Then the movie edition ruins it by leaving out parts of the story's charm.
          Sequels can also make stories drag on. It's like I want to continue experiencing the plot, but after a while of filler chapters... *shudder*
          They can also ruin endings. Sometimes they get complex too, adding new, unfamiliar factors like characters to keep it interesting.
