          	The student was having a hard time at home. She was getting abused by her alcoholic mother and her dad was not around. She lost her twin sister due to suicide. She’s a senior in high school and plays basketball. She has a best friend that lives across the street from the teacher. The student and the teacher do not get along at first. The teacher joins the basketball team as a coach or something. The student’s mom dies and decides to call the teacher to pick her up. And the teacher lets the student live with her because she doesn’t want the student in foster care. They eventually fall in love with each other.
