Wattpad deleted my 16,000+ words document without warning. I found where it should be, but everything is blank; the title, the description, and the chapter where the writing was. Nothing. It lists the date I started the project (January - I've been working on this for months). But nothing is there. No history I can restore, either. I am devastated. I had an early, 9,000-word draft saved to Google Docs, but half of my writing is gone, for no reason and without warning. I am truly heartbroken. I want to cry but at the same time, I'm so shocked and empty that the tears just won't come. What the hell Wattpad?!

@Blue--Dreams you can always look at the revision history. Like you have the chapter but maybe there is still a part of it. Try that maybe it works? If not... Well then it would suck a lot!

And Idk when this happened. I've been frequently visiting this work to update it. Its been a few weeks with finals last semester and my summer semester keeping me busy, but it hasn't been abandoned. I have works from four years ago that haven't been touched since I created them, and yet Wattpad decides to delete this one??

Do you ever wake up in the middle of the night with an awesome story idea or a way to fix a plot hole in your current work and write it down, and then the next day you have no idea what your note means??? Yeah. . .happened to me last night. I checked my written note today, and it says (and it's written like this), "plot idea plot: dont forget, pls dont forge." Thanks past me.

I've already hit 4,000 words in the chapter (my.average chapter length is about 3 to 3.5k words) and I haven't even reached the important plot. part T-T I really just want to finish this chapterrr

@Blue--Dreams Literally such a mood. Rip my search history(writing superhero fights can make things sketchy, lol. "Non-lethal places to stab."). And it's never anything important either! Like when I researched what electricty does to the human body just for some headcanons.
