Hey, I just uploaded chapter 2 of Not all bats. More exposition of the three ladies? More worldbuilding? Story that's more than just theatrics and mystery? It's in chapter two. Yippee!

Anyway, can someone please explain to me how to write dialogue for a character that says "youse?" I really just want Melissa to say "youse," but that comes with the baggage of incorporating the rest of the dialect into their speech, which as a linguist I find exciting and as a writer I find absolutely dreadful...

Well, I hope you enjoy chapter two. I also hope that it doesn't have any discrepancies with chapter one. If it does, uhm,

          	feedback welcome!

before you ask yes I'm currently working on chapter 2 of that funny bat book, and have plans for a chapter 3

I got the Common Application essay to grind out and like four other hobbies though so it might be a hot minute

So, I've been reading this book for school--since that's what schools tend to do, assign work over summer--and I've found it quite compelling to, well, rip style from it like certain typewriters were capable of doing (well, they ripped words from paper, not style, but I wanted to cram this analogy in somewhere). The book I'm reading is "The Handmaid's Tale."

More importantly, I just released a maybechapter of a book. I'm not gonna try and excuse myself of anything this time, for one, because that would be lame of me to do, and two, because I think I did pretty well writing this time. I like the setting, story, and--most importantly--characters, so we'll see where this one goes.

The story, maybetitled "Not all bats," is where you usually find stories on this website. The description reads, "Vampire bites kill, so they draw blood with needles now. Three vampires kidnap a man from his apartment to harvest his blood, over days, like wine from a keg. But not all bats are in it for the blood."
