So… the new chapter is out? Angst incoming?

Soo… if anyone’s still interested, Chapter 19 Part 2 is now up, and it’s... something? 

Chapter 19 Update: Writing Progress
          
          So… it’s taking me a lot longer than I anticipated, and finding time to write has been a struggle, which definitely hasn’t helped. If there isn’t an update in August, please be patient with me.
          
          Part of the delay is because I really wanted to pack a lot into this chapter. There are plenty of character interactions, some you might expect… and maybe a few surprises too.
          
          I know this isn’t the full chapter yet, but here’s a little tease:
          
          Suddenly, a hand clamped around Selene’s arm and yanked her violently off course. Her shoulder twisted with the sudden force, and before she could react, her back slammed into a nearby wall. She let out a short, scoffing breath through clenched teeth.
          “What the hell have you done?” snapped a familiar voice.
          Dazed for half a second, he blonde blinked hard. Her vision focused just in time to catch Caitlyn Kiramman’s furious expression. Her brow twitched upward and irritation surged fast. 
          A short, scoffing breath escaped her as her lips pulled into something between a smirk and a snarl. “Are you serious right now?” she muttered, tilting her head just slightly. “Is this, like, a foreplay thing? God, I swear… you and Vi—”
          “Vi is here?” Caitlyn’s grip faltered. Her voice cracked just slightly.

Update: Chapter 18 should be posted today.

Update: Chapter 16 is now posted! June has been a crazy month, so I don’t think I’ll be able to finish the next chapter before the month ends. In July, I’ll try to post at least two chapters. Also, the next chapter will probably be the last one with a happy, feel-good vibe.

 Just a quick heads-up — Chapter 15 is in final editing and should be up later today or tomorrow. In the meantime, here’s a little sneak peek:
          
          To say the walk back to the commune was easy would’ve been a cruel joke.
          “So much for going back quietly,” Jinx muttered, narrowing her eyes at the sight ahead. Enforcers—at least two dozen—moved in tight formation along the lower streets, flanked by Noxian soldiers in muted red armor.
          “Yeesh… wonder who lit the fire.”
          Selene’s eyes narrowed, disbelief flickering across her face. Her lips pressed into a thin line.
          “We’re the fucking fire,” she muttered, low and steady.

Chapter 14 - (Part 2) is up! 
          
          That said… according to my outline, we’re getting dangerously close (like, 4 chapter-ish... really depends if I spiral again) to events from Arcane’s episode 6 timeline… and honestly, I’m not sure I’m ready for that.

          Part 2 will be up tomorrow! It's all written, just needs a bit of editing and a final check.
