Julie Davis is a creative writer with a strong focus on the fantasy genre, as well as an editor/proofreader with extensive experience editing transcripts, articles, short stories, and more. She graduated as valedictorian with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Creative Writing for Entertainment at Full Sail University and as valedictorian with a Master of Science in Entertainment Business.

She has a number of writing credits. Most recently, her short story, "Coordinates: Unknown," was published on the Vocal.media site. Three articles that she wrote were published on Furzly.com, and while working as a contributing writer for the Jacksonviller Magazine, two of her articles were published on the Jacksonviller Magazine website. In 2018, she self-published an eBook compilation of short stories titled 'Ghosts and Daemons and Cultists, Oh My!', and her flash fiction piece, "The Rift," was published in the July 2018 print edition of the Scarlet Leaf Review.

Though she prefers to write high fantasy, she has dabbled in other genres and is gradually taking a liking to writing horror/suspense. She also has experience with a variety of writing formats, including film and TV scripts, comic scripts, video game cutscenes, interactive text adventure games, commercial scripts, and more. In her spare time, she observes and names the birds that visit her backyard. She currently resides in North Carolina with her husband, three dogs, four cats, and two snakes.
