lgbt book recommendation time!
•Carry On by Rainbow Rowell
A chosen one as high stung as the name suggests he should be and his adventure with this title in this quirky magical world with his (inclusive representation) friends and his mortal enemy. Gay wizards, unique take on magic spells, and forest gay aesthetic.
•The Song of Achilles by Madeline Miller
The story of the battle of Troy and it's events centered around the renowned hero Achilles and his companion Patroclus. Ancient Greece, gays, and kisses under constellations.
•Simon and the Homo Sapien's Agenda by Becky Albertalli
A boy who isn't out to anyone yet and has a secret pen pal who he is out to but the thing is neither of them know who the other is even though they go to the same school. Accurate representation, theater nerds, and fairground date aesthetic.
•Aristotle and Dante Discover the Secrets of the Universe
Aristotle is a strange boy with nihilistic views on life, thinking he could never amount to much in the vast universe, until he meets an artsy boy named Dante who is as beautiful yet broken as his appearance. So relatable and calming tone, latinx lgbt representation, kisses under a rainy night sky.
(This book is my absolute favorite and I've always said that it is like a window to my soul, if you want to know who I am as a person then read this book because holy shit it's so relatable)
