            Hmm... "held" could work. It doesn't really give the implication of action, but its definitely less rough than "grabbed". Lol ^^
               Do u think "scooped up" could work..? Course, that includes the "up" word again... *shrugs* XD

@SilverBell96 oooo, yeah, i hadn't realized that until you said it but i think it would sound better if i changed it to something other than 'grabbed.' do you think 'held' would work? because i already use 'picked up' later in the paragraph.

             Yeah, I know wat u mean. ;) 
              As for character accents: that's where ur gonna have to decide wat race ur characters are. XD Race differences often affects accent. Especially in those days, when races were just starting to really mingle. But if u check up on those characters who already had a race identity, then u can probably get a quick idea of wat they're accent wouldve been. Check to see where they were born, and where they grew up. Particularly where they grew up. Altho different raced parents could also potentially affect ones accent. ;) :)

@SilverBell96 haha yeah, but i'm talking about using "ya'" as in 'yeah.' like, hmm, "ya' know" instead of  "you know" does that make sense. but like, now i wanna give someone an accent, i don't know which character would suit an accent though. XD

             But ohhh ok! Yeah, I know how that feels. I tend to write 3rd person, bc it gives me a chance to dive into multiple perspectives. I like seeing (and creating) EVERYONES reactions to stuff, instead of just one person's. XD Its more satisfying to my senses. Lol :D
              Especially when it comes to reveals. XD
              That's kinda wat tortured me with the hunger games books. It was all Katniss's perspective, except when she was around to witness someone else's. So I didnt necessarily get to enjoy Peeta's reactions to certain moments. Lol ^^
