Happy Sunday everyone!

So just a reminder that chapter 10 went up last week and has concluded the first part of A Bullet Or Two

I can't believe the story is already at 30,000 words! I'm so excited to share the rest with you

However, today there is no update. I've unfortunately had a really bad flu this week and didn't manage to get any edits done. Chapter 11 will hopefully be posted next Sunday instead!

Only 1 part for Chapter 9 of A Bullet Or Two today!

A short chapter for two reasons:

          1. To coincide with the big events that happened in the last.

          2. I've been in London this weekend for the Platinum Jubilee celebrations. Did you get up to anything fun to celebrate the jubilee?

          Anyways, enjoy

A short release this week! Chapter 7 of A Bullet or Two is now published and has 3 parts!

Let me know what you think of it! Any constructive feedback or just comments, in general, are welcome!

I'd love to engage more with you all too, so what sort of content do you like to see from writers alongside their stories?

On this humid Sunday afternoon, Chapter 6 has been uploaded (*insert fanfare*)!

For some reason, tavern scenes are always my favourite to write. There's just so much potential for what can happen in this kind of setting.

When I was 16, I used to play Dungeons and Dragons and somehow, my party always ended up in a brawl or battle at a tavern. Obviously, in A Bullet or Two, a full-on war inside a tavern would be complete chaos and inaccurate for the story, but the potential scenarios are still unlimited!

What do you think of the story so far? Do you have a favourite chapter or character yet?

Chapter 5 of A Bullet or Two is up and ready for consumption

This chapter is made of 4 parts for easy reading!

And as a little celebration moment, I've reached over 20 published parts of the story now What are you thoughts of the story so far?

Good eve/day/morn

As I work more and more on my stories, one thing always blocks me. That's how do I create the perfect blurb?

So, rather then get myself into a tussle and cause an existential crisis I thought I'd ask you beautiful people!

What do you like to see in a blurb? What attracts you to keep reading? What do you not like to see?

LynnMontagano

@BlueberryBaker As far as the character voice in a blurb, I honestly don't have a preference when reading them. Or writing them for that matter I guess. I've written blurbs for my other books in 3rd person even though the story is told in 1st. For the one I'm editing now, I wrote the blurb in 1st because it felt more organic that way.

I honestly think as long as the blurb conveys the character's voice(s) it doesn't matter how it's written. So long as it's catchy. ;) Gah, I hope that all makes sense!

@LynnMontagano I've got to agree. I like to think of it as a trailer for the book, but it can't be like current day trailers that spoil so much of the plot.

I like seeing the character introduced, the setting presented; and the plot set up with the basic info I need to get started.

When you mentioned character voice, do you have a preference for 3rd person or 1st person?

@BlueberryBaker Ah, the perfect blurb. I personally like blurbs that are written in the character's voice and tease me just enough to want to pick up the book. I'm not a fan of long-winded blurbs that go on and on and try to incorporate everything from the story. To me, a blurb should tease the reader with just enough information so they'll want to see what happens between the pages. :)

Only a day late but Chapter 4 is now published!

It's a bank holiday in the UK today so I chose to wait a bit longer to publish so that I was happy with the final version I share.

This was actually one of the first chapters I planned for this story, one that helped me to really flesh out Delilah's character and her purpose. I hope you enjoy reading it as much as I did writing it :D

I can't believe another week has passed already! I've been very lucky to bask in some sunshine this week and the UK was blessed with nice weather.

Chapter 3 is now up! A little shorter than the previous chapters but I hope you enjoy reading it anyways!

Please do check A Bullet or Two out and leave your feedback

Chapter 2 of A Bullet or Two is now up! Please do go check it out if you have the time

This story is written as a novel but to accommodate the wattpad format, the chapters are split up into different parts.

So far, chapter 1 is 4 parts. Chapter 2 is 6.

Any feedback or comments you have are greatly appreciated
