Hello again. As mentioned in my last update, I will be removing my stories from Wattpad and putting them on another platform. For more on why, you can see my previous update on my page. 
          
          I'm here to give one more final reminder of where my works will be moving forward, with some minor changes to the plan:
          -For my SFW Fiction (The Nerd & The Frog, Finding Love in the District), that will be on my Substack for free: https://anjacksonwriter.substack.com/
          - For my NSFW/Spicy/Smut Fiction (Secret Admirer, Enough to Kill For), it will now be on my Patreon: https://www.patreon.com/cw/anjacksonwriter
          
          The reason for this switch is due to the SubStack payment structure. It will not allow me to charge anyone who chooses to subscribe a dollar amount lower than $5. I'm only asking for people to join for $1, and I cannot do that with SubStack. But, with Patreon, that is quite easy to do. While I hate for there to be 2 different platforms for my work, I want people to be able to access it at a lower cost, and not be at risk of it getting removed. 
          
          I will be writing new stories, as well as continuing to work on my stories in progress that were not updated here at Wattpad. I do hope you'll join both places to keep updated with my works. Again, they will be removed TOMORROW, March 31st, 2026.

It has been quite some time since I've updated here. Almost 2 years. A lot has happened personally, but that's not important right now. I'm giving an update to state that I am removing my stories from Wattpad entirely.
          
          In my opinion, the platform has changed over the years making it harder to get my types of stories seen. The stories are also at risk of being removed entirely because of the content. I have long, dedicated fans (bless you all) and I see some new first time readers (you guys are awesome) and that's encouraging. But, Wattpad as a whole isn't really rewarding long-term writers like myself with opportunities to get their stories seen and published. 
          
          So I'm moving my works to Substack. The NSFW/Erotic stories will be behind a paywall (it will be a $1 to subscribe). All my other stories will be free to read. I'm not doing this for the money, although the dream is to be a published author one day. I'm doing this for exposure and to get my name out there in the writing/publishing world. 
          
          Here's an example of the structure: My mature story, Secret Admirer, was removed from Wattpad back in 2024 due to the change in guidelines for content on Wattpad. It's on Ao3, but it doesn't get seen much because Ao3 can be hard to navigate. (I'll be removing it from there as well, btw). Because of that, it will be on my Substack, but you have to pay a $1 a month to read it. My other stories (The Nerd and The Frog, Finding Love in the District, etc.) will be free to read. I do have new stories in the works as well, so it won't just be the same stories here on Wattpad. Also, considering I want these stories to be published one day, they will be edited and re-written as I post them on my Substack. 
          
          The plan is to remove all stories from Wattpad and Ao3 by March 31st, 2026. So, if you want to continue to read and support my works, please follow my Substack: https://anjacksonwriter.substack.com/

Hello again! Just giving a quick update that both of my stories (Enough to Kill For & Finding Love in The District) have been updated. FLITD was updated on Thursday as scheduled. But, it took a while for me to get ETKF up, as the file was corrupted on my laptop, and half of the chapter had disappeared. So, I needed to retype it  >_< 
          
          So sorry for the delay! I hope you enjoy the updates and thanks for being so patient with me as I get back into the swing of things. The next updates will be on the 23rd as planned! Until next time!

Happy Friday!! Both Enough to Kill For and Finding Love in the District have been updated. Sorry for the slight delay in getting these two chapters up. I was out of town last week unexpectedly, and it made it incredibly hard to update, as well as projects with my day job have kept me very busy. 
          
          As mentioned before, we're going to be on a biweekly schedule now, so the next time I will update these stories will be around May 9th. 
          
          Also, as stated last time, my completed story, Secret Admirer, will no longer be on Wattpad. You can find it on Ao3 for the time being under my name. I'm still deciding where to put it permanently, and once I do, I will make sure to let you all know.

Hello again! So sorry for the delay in my announcements, but both of my ongoing stories (Enough to Kill for and Finding Love in the District) were both updated on the 11th! They will be updated again on Thursday, the 18th, before not being updated again until May 2nd as I will be moving to a bi-weekly posting schedule. 
          
          Also, in regards to the removal of my completed story, Secret Admirer, I will be removing it tomorrow morning. You can find it on my Ao3 page for now until I find another location for it. You can find me there by searching for my name, "Blurein," in the search bar. I just wanted to say thank you so much to all of the readers, and feedback the story received for the few short years it was here on Wattpad. I didn't expect for it to receive all the attention it got, and it has been such a wonderful experience.

Please read! My completed story: Secret Admirer, will be removed from the platform, since the characters are 16+ years of age, as that was the previous age of consent on the site. Based on the Wattpad Content Guidelines update, all characters need to be 18+ if involved in sexual acts/content. This will go into effect on April 15th, 2024. No, I swear this isn't an April Fools joke. I updated both of my stories: Finding Love in the District and Enough to Kill For. 
          
          First, let me say thank you so much to the readers who have reached out asking how I'm doing, when I'll update again, and letting me know that you really enjoy reading my stories. I truly appreciate it. 
          
          The past several months have been very hard for me, but my health is on the upswing and its much easier for me to write regularly again (having an auto immune disease is the worst). Also, life has calmed down a bit to allow me more time to update my stories. 
          
          But, I will state that my writing cadence cannot be the same as before. Instead of updating weekly, it will be bi-weekly moving forward. It will still be on Thursdays, but I wanted to update today as it's the first day of April and I want to start fresh. I will not update again until April 11th, then again on April 18th. From there, it will be biweekly.
