            *and cause a certain chain of events needs to meet all the clan's heads of Konohagakure,with that pretext our character walks and enters the Flower Shop asking for directions and then meets the Yamanakas one of the families.
            Lots of pretexts could be given,for a character such as Sakura perphaps meeting the girl and her mother eating ramen at Ramen Ichiraku.
            
            Still all the meetings I have in mind do despict the character's as children since we look at them from a foreigner's and adult's perspective.
            
            My cards are on the table still Writer you should consider making the MC a bit younger if you want to give relevance and not lose character development for people the readers may feel more familiarise with.
            
            Not only speaking about Konoha the only chance of interacting with Kumo's Genin(Samui,Tarui,Ran,Darui,Karui) is for Y/N's being a teacher on Kumo's Academy and train them as sensei.
            
            As bad as it sounds from a narrative perspective that could also give the Y/N The opportunity of meeting lots of younger ninja,being seen as a mentor figure they could look up to.
            
            Ummm starting as an adult really changes the storytelling,no formation,no innocence shattered,no first experiences on relations and hardships.
            
            That is without a doubt one of the pillars of the series yet sometimes breaking tradition is the way to success...
            
            So far so good,those are my impression on possibilities and scenarios our MC could be in to meet the requirements,see if something is useful and well here I'll be.

            Well for a start the age difference will be a huge boundary between our MC and the girls mentioned.
            Remember that on the Ninja Villages a Genin is already a legal adult,a child soldier that the state supports.
            
            So making our protagonist younger is always an option that could help you build bonds with the Canon characters since they could meet on Chunin exams or something like that...
            
            A 20 years old guy would be more likely to interact with characters like Kurenai,Mabui(the Raikage's secretary),Tsunade...and so on.
            
            I don't what could be the rank our character has on society not that if he is even a ninja but if he is at least the man would be a Chunin from my perspective (even the most incompetent ninjas reach it).
            
            The only chance I see is that our MC is sent to Konoha as a diplomat during the plot and gets the chance to interact(from a foreigner's perspective) with the kids of Naruto's generation in Konoha.
            Such an event of course cannot happen at the start of the series cause you'll have to do worldbuilding for Kumo and its citizens yet with a few chapters you could introduce the concept.
            
            Making our MC a stray ninja(a deserter to Kumo) after a certain event could be a possibility,either a disagreement with the elites over a mission of backing a noble over another in a council of the Land of Lightning if he indeed has some status.
            
            Perphaps a messenger?Remembering a certain fic about Fire Emblem,on which the MC travelled a lot building lots of relations in the process.
            Being a neutral ninja(originating from a village such as Takigakure,whose ninjas could be forced to serve another villages in order for them not to attack their peaceful nation,a Switzerland of sorts).
            And our character could be one of the few trusted to carry said information.
            The idea of "Starting on Kumo" doesn't mean we have to be a native of the land.
            
            On any of the possibilities the meetings could be casual our character is living in Konoha due to his position

            So SXVIII Japan heavily inspired on SXVII Japan then?
            I knew was there on the tracks,little mentions to the fall of the Ryukyu Kingdom specially when exploring Mugen's storyline won't be a bad addition to the plot.
            
            Glad I could contribute a little on your writing and story building in general,The end of the Toyotomi Clan's and the infamous Oda Clan fall from power(let's not forget about the extinction Chōsokabe Clan) will really be a sore point to the memory of our character.
            
            Perphaps he was in love with a female member of one of this clans?We shall see...We shall see.
            When the Tokugawa wants vengeance it will not stop.

            Really troubling days on the university with no stop work here and there all ending with more hassle to handle right back home.
            
            Read it today,given a few comments,the story has a good concept and a story period that really catches !y interest,even posted a theory about the possible timeline of Samurai Champloo as a series in general!
            
            No worries when time permits me,I will read the major part of the content you post.
            That being said no RWBY,Digimon or that stuff...
