I'm a retired teacher. Although I primarily write picture books, I have written three novel size manuscripts.
My Book, Nutaui's Cap, is a picture book about a young Innu girl who participates in the Innu protests against low-level flights by military jets in Labrador. The publisher is Running the Goat Press.
As a family, we have spent three-year terms in Jamaica and Labrador for the Mennonite Central Committee.
I played hockey goaltender for many years, hence my interest in goaltender history and this led to the story Time Tunnel to the Stanley Cup, a time when the rules for goaltenders and hockey were different.
