I’m aware that I’m not very active on here, and as a result I don’t communicate with very many people on this platform. I apologize. All I can say is that between working full time and living with two young children, I barely have time to write— let alone read. Having said that, I’ve decided to publish the rough draft of my new novel on here as an ongoing work. I love getting early reviews and input to help with the final draft, and of course I’ll decorate each chapter with pictures as I always do. Just as an added treat for anyone who decides to follow my work. I would love it if you could offer insight, thoughts, criticisms, feelings. This will probably be going on for a long time, each book usually takes about a year. If you still see me and follow me, I hope you’ll check it out and let me know what you think.

Friends and followers, I've just published my latest short story, "Karma: The Confession of David Lee Redfield". It's the last story of my new book! It's a rough draft, so should you choose to read it, be aware that there may be some grammatical errors throughout. It has not been edited yet. I also apologize that it's one long chapter (I had no idea how long it would end up being, as stories have a mind of their own). I would love opinions and feedback as I begin the editing process.

Closing in on the end of my new book. As I’ve said before, I use Wattpad to do my writing and I leave the stories posted while I do the editing process, but once the book is out, no more freebies. This is just a heads up that some of my content will be leaving soon. I’d love any and all feedback I can get.

My new job is 9 hour shifts, four days a week, and until noon on Friday. I wrote my last book on my breaks at my old job— that’s not really an option at this new job. I love working here, if you watch the NFL then you’ve seen a football my wife and I helped create. But finding the time to write is really a struggle right now.

I just published a short, disgusting little story called “Bugs”. I wrote it for the horror podcast “The Midnight Nexus” (I’ve mentioned it on here before). They turn short stories into miniature audiobooks, and I highly recommend you check it out wherever you listen to podcasts. I’d love it if you read it. Later on, I may go back and lengthen it. This one will turn your stomach.

I wrote a short science fiction story called “Abaddon” about an asteroid on a collision course with Earth, and the scientists sent to analyze it have an accident (because of course they do) and have to figure out how to handle their oxygen shortage— there’s only enough to sustain one of them until rescue arrives. Anyway, I wrote it for a sci-if magazine who promptly rejected it. Now that I don’t have a character limit, I added to it, made it longer, made it more disgusting and brutal, and fleshed out my two main characters. I think it’s a much better story now, barring any grammatical errors I undoubtedly missed. I hope you’ll check it out.

At long last, the rough first draft of “Pecos Charlie” is complete. I’d love some opinions on it as I begin the editing process, as I plan to include it in the next collection of stories I publish (if it’s not long enough to be its own book. Here’s hoping!) I’ve never written anything that wasn’t strictly horror, so I hope it’s not garbage. I appreciate any feedback!
