I love stories. I told stories as a child: in the backyard digging holes in the sand my dad use for cement, playing at the creek while finding frogs or fishing, meeting the spirited folk playing in the warm fields, walking to and from school, swing in the garden back and forth on warm Colorado nights, hiking in the Alaska mountains, sitting on the train going back and forth to Colorado, having coffee at cafés in Oakland, telling tales to my children before they fell asleep, now by entertaining my grandchildren. I love creating, drawing, telling, and writing stories.
