Hi, I'm a bored teenage girl who doesn't have the willpower to do something productive, so I will rant abt Kitagawa Daiichi. I sent this to Sya but idk where she is so I shall put it here #plsdontcancelme
(This isn't part of the rant but it made me start my rant, all, and I mean A L L of the kitadaii gcrv i watched doesn't follow the timeline and it annoys me too much to be normal. Like- if Kags is already the king then IwaOi won't be in Kitagawa uniform, they would already be in Seijoh. But none of them do that :' they make the kitagawa 5 all in kitagawa but still make kindaichi hate kags cause he's a king???)
Ok, point 1- I know Kags is a good person. Obviously, he's changed for the better esp in hs. Obv, I love him and his grumpy ass, but making him completely innocent in the whole king incident feels wrong. KuniKin were completely valid in being angry at Kags (nobody want to be yelled at abt doing your favourite sport wrong (*coughs* but i mean he can yell at me anytime-)) they just handles said anger wrong. But the thing is, so did Kags? I think we all know the mist probable reason he went all king was cause of his granddad, and he was grieving, but grieving isn't an excuse to treat people badly. He was going through a hard time, I understand that, but making him completely innocent feels unfair.
Kindaichi was completely valid in not accepting/wanting an apology from kags (tho ig he couldve heard him out?). In his eyes, the last time he saw kags was in middle school, and one doesn't really expect someone's behaviour from around 2 years to just completely change in a few months. He was hurt too, and so was kunimi. I'm not saying that KuniKin is innocent, abandoning someone pubically was def wrong, but putting the blame on just them is kinda hypocritical? idk u g h i think too much abt this hregrgo anyway point 2 either in replies or a diff announcement cause im running out of words-

@Boke_Beany He wanted to go to nationals because of his grandpa, he must have been thinking that everyone left him because he is not good enough, so when he became the best, the others could not keep up with him. Its like this, one of your parents last will was for you to become a doctor, wouldn't you do everthing you can to fullfill that, even if it means abandoning your friends and everything and only focusing on that. It's not like kags blamed anyone, he blamed it all on himself, so imagine when he apologized, and kindaichi rejected that, he indirectly said that it was all kageyama's fault. Sure, if kinkuni can't accept him, thinking he hasn't changed, they could have at least apologized for abandoning him publicly. And stop trying to ruin his relationship with his new teammates by saying those things about him. I get it you don't want to accept him yet but at least don't poke fun at his trauma. For example: a close family member of yours died and then you had an emotional outburst and the next day everyone teases you calling you a crybaby and other bad things. Wouldn't that remind you of the person you lost. That's how kags felt, he thought his teammates will also leave him after they hear that. You know the saying, 'let the past go, and look ahead' (something like that), how can kags do that if everyone keeps mentioning/ teasing/sneering at him like that. For example: Tsukishima, Oikawa, Kindaichi, etc.

@Boke_Beany I mean yeah kags was at fault but he was just a young kid who didn't understand that what he was doing is wrong. The only one who took care of him passed away when he was 13...so imagine him having to go back to his empty house everytime he had a bad time in practice or won a match but no one to cook for him a celebratory meal or congratulate him or comfort him. All that bottled up feelings exploded when no one thought of asking how he was. He was isolated at school and home. No one to say I am back or no one to help him with his homework, no one to give him physical affection. If you think about it though kags is also at fault, he didn't have tjat much of a choice. If he had someone with him they could recommend him to go to therapy or make him understand that what he is doing is wrong. Plus he didn't know how to explain what he wants. You don't learn how to speak, express, behave by yourself, you need parental guidance.

People try to make Kageyama innocent and not aware of his actions, yes if you’re grieving it’s difficult, but you don’t have to be rude towards others. I honestly agree with KinKuni on this matter. Only after YEARS did they finally forgive Kageyama because they knew now that he has changed.

@Boke_Beany there's 9 more days till incaple of love gets updated but school just had to get in the way, it's not really helping when the author reads a 600,000+ words fanfic, (idk as I'm typing this I'm singing the Phineas and Ferd theme song??)
