I am originally from a small town in Central Florida. I left that town many years ago and answer my country's call and attended the USAF Academy, in Colorado Springs, where I graduate and became 2Lt in the USAF. From there the USAF sent me to get wings as a Weapon System Officer (WSO), where my role is as a "guy in back" of aircraft took place. To help explain a WSO I must make a movie reference to Top Gun, I am a USAF version of "Goose". I of course have a call sign such as "Goose" mine happens to be "Famine". I flew many missions in the B1b "Bone" from 1998-2001 and again from 2003-2006. I stepped out of the jet and did ground work from 2006-2008 where I returned to flying but only a few missions per year. I finally left the jet for what I believe was permanent in 2011 at the rank of Lt Col. Since 2011 my work has primarily been on the ground.
The USAF has allowed me to see the world and live in other countries such as Germany. Consequently, I have a wide range of experience in various cities ranging from London, to Paris as well as place such as Venice. My family, wife and daughters, have found this experience to educational.
