A well-traveled, multilingual, half-crazy English guy that's led a very unconventional, like a modern-day rebel but this rebel, unlike James Dean, had a cause. Main interests include travel, photography, languages including fluent Spanish, rusty Italian and very dodgy French! I enjoy different cultures and particularly in the female form of said cultures. My passion for travel and adventure knew no bounds quite often getting myself into trouble on many an occasion, especially Mexico and Colombia, not good places to get into trouble I will assure you. I was born during the swinging sixties, though I, being so young didn't have much to swing. After growing up in Hampshire, I soon grew tired of small-town life and small-town mentality, so started I started to travel in order to broaden his horizons. It wasn't until the 1980's that I rode off into the sunset to begin to see the world and eventually sow my wild oats. My life's experiences propelled me into writing his first book called '' Two and a half week's'' after my first and only son was suddenly snatched from him behind his back on a sublime and sinister Christmas day in Mexico. Two and a half weeks is a very compelling and passionate book about my attempts to recover my newly born baby followed by serious death threats, intimidation. Two and a half weeks is a riveting read. My second book is a humorous look at my his travels, romantic cock-ups called '' Bonking Mad by Barry Bonking'' A very funny read which will make your sides split with laughter.  Having traveled to thirty-six different countries far and wide including the supposedly dangerous South American country of Colombia where I testify that it's not nearly as scary as a night out on the dodgy streets of South London. Talking of Colombia, of which I rather see myself a bit of an expert having traveled, lived and bonked his way around Colombia at least fifteen times, not having been kidnapped much to my disappointment by the notorious ''Farc guerillas'' .
