          This pisses me off so much. I have a friend who just came out as trans(ftm) to their mother, and she started to gaslight them saying ‘how they felt like a failure as mother’ and that what he was doing was ‘against god’s will’ No mother should ever have to make herself the victim in this type of situation in which a child just wants to feel comfortable in their own skin. She shouldn’t be using religion against her child just for a way to make what he feels be unjustified. They’re feeling a bit better now from and friend and I trying to make them feel that it isn’t their fault, but it just makes me feel so sick to think about parents doing this to their own children.
