Hi BookWorm
I came across Blood Black Academy and I have been thinking about it ever since I read the lines “Rule 1 Don’t look for the ones who go missing” and “Rule 2 Don’t defy the Boss.” There is something very unsettling in how simple those rules are, yet how much weight they carry. It immediately pulled me into a world that feels controlled, quiet, and dangerous in a way that lingers.
What stayed with me the most is the atmosphere you created. The idea that mornings feel normal but nights are filled with screams and silence says so much without needing to explain everything. It gives the story a kind of tension that feels constant, like something is always watching. Aadya also stood out to me. She feels like someone who refuses to disappear into the system, and that makes her presence stronger in a place where everyone else seems to accept what is happening.
I also found the contrast between the Boss and Parth really interesting. The Boss feels openly cruel, almost like fear itself has a face, while Parth feels quieter but just as heavy in a different way. That balance adds a layer of curiosity that made me want to understand more about both of them.
At the same time, it feels like this kind of story could reach even more people than it already has. The idea behind the academy, especially the focus on children who are not the firstborn, feels very unique and powerful. It is the kind of concept that stays in the mind, but I feel like not everyone has fully seen how strong it is yet.
I just wanted to share this because it genuinely felt like a story with depth and intention behind it, not just something written to follow a trend.
I was also wondering, have you published any of your work on Amazon or Goodreads yet
