CONTINUATION OF PREVIOUS ANNOUNCEMENT. Participants should not be left on hold after their entries have been accepted. There can be rounds or fun things to keep the participants busy. ANS: Agreed. We’ll definitely do something about that. Judges should be deeply interviewed to prevent the occurrence of judges bailing last minute; they should also give proper feedback, explaining why participants were marked down. ANS: Yes, absolutely. A judge muted us right after bailing so we have learned from our mistake. We’ll give a format for the review in the next award. Judges should be rewarded too. ANS: The judges took out of their time to judge books so they should equally be rewarded. In the next award, judges will definitely have something to gain. There should be individual stickers for genres. ANS: This is still pending, as we’re not sure if we have enough time to make first, second, and third stickers for every genre. But we’ll let you know. Many other suggestions are being looked into and you’ll see the outcome in the next award. Still on the case of the next award, we have decided that the next award will be one with better judges, more prizes for everyone, and improved rubrics. It would not have a fixed number of participants, rather, there will be a time frame for submissions AND there will be rounds (longlist and shortlists), resulting in winners from every genre. There won’t be any ties. However, it comes with a cost — and that is the possibility of the award not taking place in 2022 (50:50 chance). If it does take place in 2022, it would be crossing over to 2023. We want as much time as we can to effectively map out the award. We have also decided to have similar stickers for every award (to distinguish ourselves. Consider the next award as the next big thing! Any comments should be as a reply to this post.

LONG ANNOUNCEMENT AHEAD. Hello, everyone. Happy New Month! We hope you’ve all been doing well. We have a series of announcements for you all so pay close attention. - Every graphic prize will expire on the 31st of December, so if you have placed in the contest and need one, go ahead and fill a form in the form section of our book. “Winners Gallery” : https://www.wattpad.com/967284410 - The second and third place stickers were distributed to all 48 of you some minutes ago; make sure you check it out. - Special category winners’ stickers will be delivered to the respective winners before the end of today. So far we’ve got a lot of answers in the post-award evaluation form and we’d like to fill you in on what the situation has been so far. So far, about 86% of you were satisfied with us, your hosts (which is totally fine, because we know we’re not perfect) 50% of you were satisfied with the judges (also totally fine, as to err is human) 63% of you were satisfied with your judge (which is okay, because we know where the faults came from) 80% of you were satisfied with our communication efforts (we’re aware that it’s not the total best, and we’re working towards it) 76% of you were satisfied with the award organization and quickness (we’re not sure what went wrong, but we’ll definitely look into it. however, if you know what we might have done wrong, feel free to say) 59% of you were satisfied with the prizes (we understand this one hundred percent; as a team, we’re not satisfied with the prizes ourselves but we don't know what else we can offer, and we don't want to make promises just to break them. we’ll definitely improve the prizes) 66% of you were satisfied with the rubric (we also understand this; during the months we noticed the faults and omissions in our rubric and we’re going to correct all that) CONTINUATION IN THE NEXT ANNOUNCEMENT. SEE YOU THERE. YOU CAN REPLY TO THIS ANNOUNCEMENT AS WELL AS THE NEXT. ✨

ALL PARTICIPANTS! We are not being wicked or mean when we delete your comments. A good amount of you don’t read or follow the rules and then you place incorrect passwords with incorrectly filled forms. We put a lot of time and energy into this and certainly, it does get annoying when people don't acknowledge that. Even after giving a second chance, some still fail to do the right thing. We get about 200 notifications a day so going back to your forms to check for your new password / new tags is stressful. For every rule you fail to obey, you WILL fill a new form as a new comment because if you do not, your form has a 98% chance of being ignored. Thank you and have a good day/night!

@BooksGotTalent I have filled my form in science fiction genre but after a few days you have deleted my form

At every of our awards, we find an active, growing, and organized account and if we think it is well deserved, we include it as an account you have to follow permanently because we believe support is necessary! Now at the end of every award, we compile all the winners, and use a random picker to choose one of them. The account chosen will be compulsory for the participants to follow in the next award. Congratulations, @marsaumell on being that person!
