          In honor of Pride Month, we’d love to promote our members’ stories that feature LGBTQ+ themes and LGBTQ+ MCs on our Instagram account. We’ve shared a form in our Profile Guide that will help us collect these stories. Just look for the chapter titled Story Requests.
          
          We plan to make this an ongoing initiative, with the topic changing throughout the year. So even if you don’t have a story to offer now, we hope you’ll stay tuned for more requests down the road.

          A big thanks go out to everyone who submitted an application. We hope you’ll take a moment to read our message in the Mentee List chapter of the 2025 Boot Camp Mentorship book. If you don’t see your name on the list, you’ll have another opportunity to apply again this year with another group of mentors.
          
          If you’re eager to get feedback on your story, and you’re interested in providing feedback in return, we invite you to check out the Critique Partner Search chapter in the 2025 Boot Camp Mentorship book or in our cp-search channels in the BCM Discord server (link in bio). We’ve provided ways for like-minded writers to connect there.

          We thank you for your interest and support of this program and the community. We’ll be using the next several days to consider all submissions, and the Mentee List will be published on May 31st.

          OUR BOOT CAMP MENTORSHIP SUBMISSION WINDOW IS NOW OPEN FOR SESSION TWO. HURRAY! 
          
          The Submission Form is available to anyone interested in seeking a mentor for our second mentoring session. Applications will be accepted until May 26th (11:59pm Eastern time). 
          
          You will find the form linked in the 2025 Boot Camp Mentorship book in a chapter titled Submission Form. You will also find the form in our participating mentors’ Bio and Wish List books. Check the Participating Mentors chapter to learn which mentors are currently accepting applications. We have also linked the form in the general-announcements channel of our Discord server (link in bio).

          Join us now in BCM’s Discord server (link in bio) for our Blurb Workshop. Over the next three days, we’ll be helping writers improve their story blurbs in the requests-for-feedback channel. If you’d like to receive feedback on the blurb (story description) of one of your stories, we invite you to join us. The workshop will run until May 16th end of day (Eastern Time)

          Once again, the Boot Camp Mentors will be hosting a mini workshop for our awesome community of writers. This time around, we’re focusing on blurbs (the story description on Wattpad). This could be for your current WIP, or perhaps to improve a blurb for a completed story. With The Ambys and The Wattys looming in the headlights, this is a great time for a spruce up.
          
          The workshop will run from May 14th through the 16th on BCM’s Discord server (link in bio). We hope to see you there!
