@SilverRabbit48 Also in case you were wondering, Nik is twelve years old, being a human obviously. 

@SilverRabbit48 Good question! The important thing we have to remember about the characters is that lions age much faster than humans do (For example, Simba’s running away and returning to defeat Scar only took two years give or take a month)
            Nik of the Outlands takes place sometime soon after young Kovu met young Kiara in LK2.
            SO, to answer your question, Vitani is currently 11 Months old (Would be 13 in human years).
            I plan to tell this story through to the end of the events of LK2 (obviously SOMETHING will happen to Nik since he isn’t with the outlanders when Vitani is an adult!)
