Hot take: Rook is an established character in Veilguard. Just because you can customize the character does make them an original character. 
          	
          	Trying to read fanfictions about my favorite Veilguard characters and all of them say original male/female but the character is just Rook (who is a MAIN character with a pre-established background depending on what class you categorize them in). Just because you can name Rook and customize how they look does not change the fact that they are not an original character.
