Hi.  Sorry for the late response.  I’m doing the best that I can.  The man I love is sick and has been for several months.  They’re doing a bone marrow biopsy Friday.  Fingers crossed that it’s not cancer.  He’s already had a lymph node biopsy.  But since he got sick everything has fallen on me.  And I’m disabled myself, so that just makes it harder.  And you know the struggles I’ve faced with my foot and other issues.  While the story hasn’t been abandoned or anything like that, right now I have to focus on taking care of him and seeing him through this.  Hence, I can’t focus on writing right now.  My mind just won’t go there with so many other thoughts and worries.  But as soon as it does, I’ll be back at it.  While I can’t write right now, my mind is still conjuring ideas.  Thanks for checking in.

No, it has not.  I know it's been a while since the last update, but it has not been discontinued.

I felt that Alec and Izzy deserved a mom who loved them.

Of course.  As long as you do it for your own reading enjoyment and don't post it anywhere.  I've had that happen before.  And I'm glad you're enjoying my story.  

I got my computer back yesterday.  I use a MAC and because of the extended warranty I had to send it in.  Now I can get back to work!

Yes.  But my computer however is not.  I hope they will have it repaired by the end of the week.

Yeah.  I'm okay.  It took more to recover from that last surgery than I thought it would.  I've had much more serious operations that were easier to recover from.  And once I did I was slammed with everything that had fallen by the wayside while I was out of commission.  Then family obligations and the holidays hit.  Currently, my office is Christmas central and I can't even get to my desk much less my computer.  Hopefully once the holidays are done I'll be able to get back to a normal schedule and writing routine

Yes, everything’s okay.  Just have a lot going on.

@piadreamer I hate that it’s been so long but recovering from this surgery has been the hardest yet.
