People hate poodles and then go and glorify doodles for no reason and it's really weird
          Every reason somebody gives for why they want a doodle but not a poodle is so arbitrary
          Regular poodles have everything they're looking for in a dog + generally a better temperament
          
          People see them as too fancy, delicate and prissy, high matenince
          They aren't bred to be show dogs, they're German water retrievers
          
          They trudge through dark and dank waters hunting ducks and geese and sometimes mushrooms
          They also make great watch dogs and guard dogs
          They're stubborn but highly intelligent, tough, and loyal people pleasers
          
          The silly looking shaved puffball haircut you think of when somebody mentions a poodle serves a practical purpose; to reduce drag and keep their joints warm in the water
          But if you aren't taking your dog out to do what it was bred to do, you don't have to give it that ridiculous cut
          If you prefer the "doodle" haircut, you can give it to a regular poodle
          Just tell your groomer you want the teddybear cut
          You can also just let it grow out it's natural coat pattern with only regular brushing and trimming

Thinking about how Count Duckula has canonically been reincarnated like 17 times but they refer to his previous lives as "his father, and his father's father, and his father's father's father" etc

I love color so much
          
          I love studying a reference image very closely  and discovering that the shadows on the blades of grass have more of a blueish tint than a dark green one and highlights yellow
          
          I love how things are more saturated and distinct in the foreground of an image but they slowly get more desaturated and blurry but ever-so lighter as it moves to the background 
          
          I miss coloring landscapes
          
          I need to practice my colorism skills

Last night I dreamt that Jim Starling/Negaduck (DuckTales 2017) punched Underlust Sans in the face
          
          No context.
          Just socked him right in the kisser using his whole body to deliver said punch.
          
          There was ANIMOSITY in that punch.

Super Psycho Love is a catchy song with a lot of memories attached to it but I would hate to meet the incel who genuinely has thought processes similar to the lyrics

I like how black/silver varients of the red fox in the UK are considered rare sightings 
          
          But in the Americas, "silver fox" is basically a shorter way of stating "this is a pet fox" because of that Russian experiment where people caught and bred sevral generations of foxes for many decades, favoring the ones that were friendlier and more responsive to humans, and it just so happened that whatever was in the friendly gene also affected the coats coloration and patterning
          Leading black/silver foxes to be significantly more common and even emerging new colors and patterns we didn't even know foxes could have like pearl cross, platinum, and pink champagne

Every time someone complains about people not noticing how obvious a superhero's disguise is in a movie, I just remember how some people literally cannot recognize me when the only thing that's changed about me in an image is that my hair has been flat ironed
          
          Even people that have known me for years
          
          Some even refuse to believe me when I tell them that it was me
