Happy Holidays to everyone! We hope you are able to enjoy time with your loved ones. For those unable to, we hope you are still able to find happiness throughout the course of the close of this year. The Brawl Family happily welcomes you to join us. We'd love for you to be a part of us and for us to foster a dope, creative, and positive community. In case you have nothing to do this weekend or if you're waiting for Thanksgiving Dinner, "Man in the Pink Suit" should be getting another chapter as well as "Legends of the Brawl" and "RiftWeld: the Ellari Wars". We are also hopefully dropping the first chapters of "Death's 12", "The City of Nomad", and "Sin Incarnate" all for your reading pleasure! We enjoy any and all support whether it be views, questions, comments, and of course critique! Once again, happy holidays!

This is such a strong opening — raw, cynical, and strangely poetic in its brutality. The voice is incredible: weary, darkly funny, and dripping with the kind of experience that only comes from too many battles and too little humanity left. The worldbuilding hits immediately through the smell, the philosophy, the hierarchy of ‘Urks,’ and that unsettling cycle of war. It feels like a blend of military sci-fi and psychological horror, and it works beautifully. I’m hooked already.

We are working on this- I imagine we'll post those as pictures on the chapter pages themselves as we get them figured out. -Perc

@Emmiliad Thanks so much for reading RiftWeld! I'm having a blast exploring Ez and dropping him in this strange new world. Stay tuned for more, I hope you have as much fun reading it as I have writing it. Happy holidays, and feel free to check out the book club's other authors and offerings. Its a wild ride. -Perc
