Hey Lovlies, Bre here!! 
          
          I have been absolutely FAILING at keeping up with things lol.  I have like, 4 or 5 other side projects I'm working on right now, and I'm thinking of adding ANOTHER one to the list (because why not right?) Mainly its a bunch of crap I think of randomly, that sits in the notes app on my phone until I'm like "oh! That sounds like a good idea to develop more in depth" and then I whip put the good ol laptop and hash out a rough plan and get a few chapters going before forgetting about it and moving onto the next.  ADHD is a joy am I right??? 
          
          Anyway, that's a big reason why IOWHMT (Originally TKS) Is taking so damn long.  I just can't get in the mood to write or plan things.  I think I'm up to chapter 6 or 7?? But I ended up dropping it for awhile, and planning an ENTIRE fanfiction for this one Fandom I'm in that doesn't have a lot of GOOD stories, and then I just like... started coming up with MORE ideas for other fanfictions and then before I knew it I had like 7 or 8 word docs sitting on my laptop that were all partially planned out.  
          
          If it makes you guys feel any better, my planning doc for TKS is up at roughly 15 or so pages.  I want to finish it, but I have ZERO motivation for it.  So that's my bad.  I have a hard time committing to these types of things, but I don't care if it takes YEARS I will finish this damn story even if it kills me.  I just might have a lot of side projects along the way, and might end up putting this one on the back burner for awhile if I ever get those into full swing.  
          
           My main goal is to at the very LEAST get 4 chapters up by tomorrow night.  Give yall something to do while I start on the bulk of the next chapters.  My rough plan is for this to be like 30 or so medium sized chapters, or like, 16-20 pretty fuckin BIG ONES, lol.  I haven't decided.  I like lengthy chapters but I prefer quality over quantity so well see.  
          
          Okay, I'm seriously going to bed now.

Hey lovlies, Bre here! 
          
          im not dead lol
          
          I'm not sure if any of you have noticed, but ive unpublished the first 3 chapters of TKS and thats because, after some INTENSE planning, I've decided to shift the plot slightly, and change some of the POV's as I prefer to write in 3rd person these days and thats much easier for me.  Not a whole lot is changing, but I have a sort of idea for the middle chunk of the story, and I'm adding little symbolism things, as well as some foreshadowing just  to add more depth to this story that i absolutely love so much.  Thank you all for being patient with me! 
          
          It'll be a bit for me to finish planning, but once its done, ill have all 3 of the original chapters redone and uploaded and the additional 4th to give you something to do while i get the next set of chapters in the works for you guys.  I've come such a long way with my writing since I first started this story, and I'm proud of how much I've been able to develop it.  Just know, that no matter how much time passes, I will NEVER give up on this story.  It's always in the back of my mind. 
          
          Last thing, I'm thinking of a rebrand/rename.  Too Little, Too Late, Colorful Life, or Color Blind are my top picks.  Or I could just keep TKS but it doesnt fit as much as it used to with the shifts, let me know what you think!

Hey Lovlies, Bre here! 
          
          I can't believe it's been almost a year since I gave any sort of update.  I promise I'm not dead!  There's just been a LOT going on, so here's a little life update since March of LAST year! 
          
          In April 2021 I was kicked out of my house.  I was homeless for a bit, but ended up being able to find a place to stay, which is where I'm currently at.  
          
          Then in July of 2021, I quit my job to work closer to where I'm living.  This job pays me better, and I love it, but I'm working double shifts 2-3 times a week and working 50+ hours a week since we have a staffing shortage.  
          
          What does any of this have to do with my writing you ask? Well when I moved I lost a LOT of my stuff.  I mean I've moved 3 times in the last year, so a lot of my things are between houses.  I lost my laptop in the move, which REALLY sucks.  I haven't had the chance to go get it.  My laptop was where I had my running doc of all my plans and ideas for TKS.  Most of this was transferred to a notebook in case of emergencies, but I stuck that in a binder and it's at my grandmothers, where I lived before I decided I wanted to move.  
          
          Updates have been on hold since then.  I can't write without my plans.  I'll hopefully have my laptop back soon, but until then, it's a waiting game.  I'll let you all know when I have it.  
          
          I have half of the next chapter for TKS written and saved as a draft, so whenever you get the update that I'm BACK, you'll also get an update on the story.  I'm sorry for making you wait this long.  I really am.  Life has just been SO crazy.  I appreciate the patience.

Hi lovelies.  Bre here.  
          
          As most of you have seen I haven’t been updating the way I used to.  My puppy chewed up my laptop cord, and on top of that, I’ve been working over 40+ hours a week and have been trying to get my own place.  It’s been stressful but I’m working towards good things.  As soon as I get a new charger for my laptop I’ll be back to updating as much as I can.  I promise.  I haven’t forgotten nor will I ever.  TKS is my baby, and I have huge plans for it.  I plan on bringing those plans to life someday soon.

Hi lovelies!!! Bre here!  
          
          Chapter 3 is FINALLY up!  I’ve been working on it pretty much all night!  Am I the happiest with it?  No.  But I wrote it 3 different ways and what I published was my favorite draft.  
          
          I haven’t been updating on a regular schedule and I’m SORRY.  It’s gonna be that way for quite awhile.  I’m so busy with everything.  I just got a promotion at work, I’m looking into moving into my own apartment, on top of working towards getting my license.  It’s just been a lot to handle on top of my mental health.  
          
          I’ve clearly not given up on this story, nor will I ever give up on TKS.  It’s my baby and I can’t rest until I finish it.  I’ve worked too hard on it.  
          
          Pretty much I’ll update whenever I have the chance from now till whenever life slows down.  If I was getting paid I’d probably be a little more active but since it’s free and I take it out of my own time, I can’t always make time for it.  I love writing with all my heart and soul, but I just caNT stick to a schedule.  It’s too stressful.  
          
          Anyway that’s all for today my lovelies.

          God everything has been SO exhausting the last month and a half.  I haven’t been writing because I haven’t had access to wifi.  Chapter 3 is in the works right now and I’ll have it up as SOON as I have wifi, and more time off work (40 hour weeks knock me OUT) I hope you’ll all understand.

          Chapter 2 is UP! Yayaya!! 
          
          At the end of the chapter I talked about my new updating schedule.  
          
          As many of you know, I moved at the end of October and started a new job, so I’ve been super stressed and busy so the updating schedule is gonna change from the every other Friday schedule, to more of a “updating as much as I can” so it could be anywhere from a week to a month until I can get another chapter up.  I’m sorry but I’m doing my best.  I hope you guys understand

          I am here to give you my FIRST UPDATE on my NEW laptop!! Yayayayaya!!!!  The TKS relaunch is for sure set for next Friday!!  I've already started writing it!  I can't wait for all of you to finally be able to read this story I've put so much time and effort into!  I hope it'll be something amazing!

Hi lovelies!! Bre here 
          
          *sighs* so I have some news. 
          
          I’ve been tracking the shipment for my laptop since I ordered it Wednesday.  
          
          Walmart’s website says it’ll be here today, which I’m keeping my fingers crossed that it is.  
          
          But when I put the tracking number into fedex it tells me that it’s going to be here TOMORROW (which I really hope not bc I work Sunday and work is going to make me too exhausted to write) 
          
          Depending on what day my laptop gets here, will dictate the date of the TKS relaunch I’ve been planning for weeks now.  
          
          If it’s here today, then the first chapter should be up by 10/30 and if it gets here Sunday then I’ll have it up by 10/31.  I want to give myself as much time as possible to prep, plan, write, and edit.  
          
          I also wanted to put out there that if any of you want to follow me on snap (breylalundgard) I DO have a story dedicated to updates on what I’m doing Wattpad wise (all announcements and updates go there first) so if you wanted to add me, I can put you guys into that story and you’ll get sneak peaks at my work as well as teasers and such.
