Bread-and-Burter

So, supposing I was to make a return...Would people mind if I had changed my writing style from a self insert character to a main character relative to each story?

I don't know what it is, but the idea of seeing y/n for the main characters name makes me feel uncomfortable. Simply due to it taking the reader away from the fantasy that is the story. I hope people don't mind?

@Bread-and-Burter Using an actual in-universe main character helps not to divert the reader's attention away from the actual tone and setting. When they see y/n it doesn't across the same way as a normal name would- I think it would be a good change. Might make the stories more immersive. The fun of an OC is that the reader can think of themselves as the character anyway- But then every now and again- When you write that character doing something that represents their beliefs, or makes a choice the reader might not that's what makes it special. That's what outlines your main character and cements them in the story you've written.

I have a question. I’m gonna take a break from updating my other stories to clear my head so I must ask. Would you guys enjoy a new story? I’ve been thinking for a little while and I wanted people’s opinions. Hell, I’ll even take a few suggestions or ideas if you’d like.

@Bread-and-Burter Yes, do a oneshot book.
