Not many people follow me here, and I am very much aware of that. Just humour me and hear me out anyways, will you?

I'm not an amazing writer, nor am I a good world-builder or storyteller or whatever else you think writers should be good at. In the past year or so, a book of one-shots I published a long (LONG) time ago sort of blew up and it was crazy! I mean, it blew up by MY standards, but still.

I'd like everyone to know that although I'm semi-proud of the stories I came up, I was young. I was young and love was merely a feeling witnessed from a distance in movies and books. Love wasn't real to me, it didn't come from experience. And it still doesn't, if I'm to be honest.

So yes, my perceptions of love are what the world around me said they should be. I found romance in non-consensual kisses (A is sleeping and B can't help but kiss A... yikes) and a lot of other fairly... controversial grand gestures. I just want everyone to know that this is no longer the case, obviously, and I've since grown from that (I'd be afraid if I hadn't).

That's basically all I had to say. Along with that, I suppose, comes a message of gratitude as well.

Thank you, from the bottom of my heart, for sticking with the one-shots. It's not original in any way, and it's certainly not beautiful writing, but you made this younger version of myself believe in herself. All of you. You gave her confidence and love and constructive criticism, and for that I will be forever grateful to each and every one of you.

          	XO,
          	Bree
