not sure if anyone is still reading these announcements, but I may or may not be working on a Boys Over Flowers fanfic that will give us some show scenes from Ji-hoo's POV...

          i think i knew this was coming because a few days ago, i wrote a nonfiction creative essay about her. i decided to post it underneath the last poem i wrote about our other dog in the We All Carry Ghosts collection.

Just wanted to let y'all know that I will release another poetry collection at some point, but it probably won't be for a little while.
          
          I've been writing a lot of poetry, but it's poetry that really only needs to be mine. It's not the kind of poetry that I can release into the world for a multitude of reasons. So, I really appreciate your patience and grace as I work on myself, my own healing, and eventually, on the next collection for you.
          
          Keep hoping, my voyagers. Jesus is on the move, even when you cannot see Him. <3

          I claimed loml and I Can Do It With a Broken Heart. loml ended up at the top of my initial ranking, but some others I'm loving right now are Down Bad, But Daddy I Love Him, Who's Afraid of Little Old Me?, The Albatross, and Peter (that one is so Bree-coded).
          
          What are your favorite songs? Did you claim any tracks this time? If so, did you end up loving your claimed track(s) or not so much?

A little over one year ago I started posting my first poetry collection, We All Carry Ghosts.
          
          If you had told me when I finished the original version of this collection that one day I would post it, I don't know if I would have believed you. This collection has always been incredibly personal to me for so many reasons. Perhaps the biggest is because it was the first time I ever truly believed in myself as a creative . . . as a writer. 
          
          This collection was God's way of rekindling the fire He put in my soul for poetry, stories, and the light that we can only find in the written word.
          
          I never expected this collection to become what it is today. I never could've imagined that so many people would find it, read it, and treasure it like they have. 
          
          This collection is a testament to what God can do when we simply relinquish our fears, honor His gentle nudges, and trust that He has called us for a purpose.

I'm working on my Chishiya fanfiction again tonight.

Castles in the Air is out today.
          
          Even though this is my third collection, it feels different. This one feels truly ordained by God in a way I've never known before. This collection was the hardest to write, compile, and edit, but that has also made it the most rewarding.
          
          I cannot thank you enough for all of your support. I hope that, if you see a fragment of yourself in this collection, it makes you feel understood in a way that maybe you desperately need. I hope that these stories blend together into a moment of healing and comfort that you will make it to the light again.
