Hey guys.
So today was the day I ran the cross country meet...
and guess what...
they changed it to a 2k which I'm so glad happened.
When the starter gun first went off, my friend was leading in first and I was fourth, which is amazing btw, and we were very happy with our positions.
But about 500m in I started seeing black spots in my vision and I started tasting blood so I had to slower my pace. At about 900m I started walking...
I walked about 100m and then started running again.
I still had 1k left and my lungs were burning for air and my pace was all messed up. By now I had moved to around tenth place and I didn't think I could keep going, but I did.
The hard part was over and all I had to do was go downhill and around down hill bends.
My friends from different age groups were cheering me on when I had about 400m left and I started to pick up my pace.
As I went down my last steep hill and I was 100m away from the end... I sprinted as fast as I could...
and I made it.
I came sixth with a time of 12:06
Which is amazing, considering that I hadn't prepared for this race at all.
As soon as I ended my coach took my arm and set me down of the grass. He told me I did amazingly and that I should take deep breaths.
I sat down for a few seconds and then got up again and walked to hand in my label and place.
This was the first ever long distance run I have completed... and I'm honestly so grateful for everyone who was there with me, who supported me...
After running I had this really bad cough. It was a mix of mucus and not enough air to the lungs and now 11 hours later it has gotten a little bit better, but I'll have to take medicine for it. It feels the exact same as how it did when I got bronchitis last year.
Well, I wish you all luck with the next few weeks and the next time you'll hear from me is probably when I'm able to post again.
Goodbye

Hey guys!
I'm so so so so very sorry that I haven't updated Dreaming Reality in ages...
Exams start in just over a week and this school term has moved so fast that I can't even remember half of the work.
I also have a Cross Country meet on the 1st of June which is the Saturday after our fourth exam and its a 4km...
I have a school tour from the 10th - 13th of June and I won't have my phone
but the last day of school before holidays is the 14th of June and we end school early
so maybe just maybe, will you guys be receiving a chapter the following week... but don't be too hopeful...
I hope you guys have had a great year so far and I wish you the very best for the rest of the year.

Sorry that I haven't updated Dreaming Reality in ages but I'm currently re-writing the second chapter because I didn't like it and I'm currently writing a chapter that would be further into the book. Have a good day/afternoon/evening/night...
