This new story is just a short story covering back-story for my novel's main character. I intend to write other back-story episodes for some of the other characters in my novel as well. Let me know what you think!

Yay! I believe I only have one more chapter to write, and then an epilogue.
          
          I saw the new movie today. I liked it, but unfortunately for me (chancing giving away the ending before I write it finally) the movie used some ideas I was intending to use for my story. At least there will be some differences, so please reserve judgment when I publish my next chapter; I promise I had no intention of copying the movie (you'll see what I mean, hopefully real soon).
          I can't wait to be done! Then I can finally work on editing!

Sorry chapter 44 took so long! I really need to wrap up this story finally!
          ...right?
          Anyways, I still have a crazy schedule, but for now I also have some time off now and then between work days, so hopefully I'll finish up soon.

@ElijahClapp I would love to check it out, but it will be awhile. I'm in a very tough training program, so finishing my story is going reallllllly slow. I'll see what I can do.

I got a new job recently, so transitioning is taking up a lot of time. Hopefully I'll make more progress soon!

Had to cut 36 a little short, but it's finally done!

Finally got 25 (whew)! A very small note, that I'll have to edit into the story later, because I show it in my art but never mention it in the story until now (sorry, I forgot), but Thera has notched eyebrows. She's had them the whole story long. Just fyi.

@yabby1 I've had to hold off on writing recently because I took too many college courses at one time. The term's up this week, so I'll be resuming, at least until the next term starts in May, and then I won't have as big of a load, so hopefully I'll be able to make more progress over time.
          There's a few more twists coming up in this part of the story, and then the final showdown with its twists. The story hasn't died, I promise. Plus, I need to do some editing to better round out some chapters, hopefully clarify some rough parts and make others more readable.
