Briannacheer54

"Conor was finally feeling. And he didn't want to feel again.
The painful twisting of his gut every time he even thought about her and the memories tried rise and he had to push them down. It was like he was fighting a losing war with himself.
He was glad when Berach and Roaian said they would go on ahead and then meet up with them later. But being stuck on a horse with his cousin and Veronika was beginning to be the worse mistake he's made.
Every time he looked back at her, his body clenched painfully and he couldn't help but sneer at the pain. It didn't help that almost every time, Ruisel was looking at her and trying to make conversation. His only salvation from not jumping from his horse and attacking his pretty-boy face was the fact that she kept her head down and only nodded or shook her head when he asked a question.
Conor knew that he had no right to try and want to keep her from having a man, or even a boyfriend. But she isn't the type for Ruisel, Conor couldn't believe he was even trying to flirt with her.
Ruisel went for the women that didn't have a conscious about sleeping with a man for a night. Women who tempted men and offered company for the a time. But Ruisel going for a wounded and weak women, that is something to remember. He always goes for the head strong, can hold themselves up and defend themselves without help, type of women. The man must know that he wouldn't have a chance with her.
Sighing, he looked to the east and smiled slightly at the feel of the Irish heat on his skin. It is mid-August, but the heat would last for another few days, if his prediction was correct. The winter would hit pretty hard soon after and he couldn't wait to go running in the wild blizzards.
Conor was surprised when he heard hooves coming up behind him and saw that Ruisel was coming beside him, a troubled look on his face.
"Cousin." Conor greeted him, turning to look up ahead..." http://wattpad.com/story/952295
