Not me actually triggering my daddy issues with a dialogue im writing for my fantasy book:
“My little flame,” he continued, fingers brushing lightly through her hair. “You think I was given you by chance? You think I would be foolish enough to accept a promise that fragile if I did not already carry it every day I breathe?”
Caladrel’s expression softened as Ranlor’s voice lowered further. “I do not believe in many things. But I believe I am yours in this life as far as it can be true. And if there is anything beyond it, then I will argue with whatever gods or accidents are responsible until they are tired of hearing my voice.”
That pulled a breathless laugh from her. He smiled then gently tapped her forehead with two fingers.
“But do not make me chase eternity on an empty stomach,” he added. “It sounds exhausting.”

The Pride Awards 2026
I wanted to take a moment to share a quick update and express my deepest gratitude. While I didn’t take home the final win, my heart is completely full.
Writing Fire and Water was a massive milestone for me, it was the first time I put my heart on paper after truly coming out which feels so surreal to me and it carries so much of my truth. To enter a competition for the very first time and see my work make it all the way to the shortlist is an honor I never expected but will cherish forever.
Being recognized alongside such talented creators means the world to me. This journey has shown me that our stories matter and that representation is so powerfully needed. Thank you to the judges, the organizers and most importantly, to everyone who has supported me, read my words and cheered me on.
This is just the beginning of my writing journey, and I am leaving this experience feeling inspired, humbled and incredibly grateful.

@Britanin I like your mindset and attitude! Keep going and keep shining in your own way! Congratulations on your achievements so far. I would have similar feelings as you since I also tried to enter a contest and did not win, but then it was never about any final win, but the fact that I know that I can do and accomplish this much.

So i decided to unpublish my other books "Terra Prime" and "Between immortality and a goodbye" so i can focus on my other ongoing book "Fire and Water".
I'll let my book One day in another life published since is a completed story, other than that i wanna focus more on my other one ❤️

Guys can i have your honest opinion about this?
Can someone love you deeply and still not have the strength, maturity, or courage to treat that love with the respect it deserves?

@Britanin | idk tbh, I feel that just shows that the certain someone is not sure about their feelings if they can't take it seriously

@Britanin Actually ngl, that isn't proper love. Like ya, it is love. People fear something, fear losing u, and they try to push u away so that it doesn't hurt. But it depends on the action they do U can come to me for advice anytime u want<33

@Britanin No...if they can't treat you with the respect deserved, then it is not true love. In some senses it is more lust than love.
