Has anyone read The Shannara Chronicles and also seen the TV show? How different are they? I just bought the books The Elfstones of Shannara and The Wishsong of Shannara and I'm thinking I should read those first.

Ok I'm not lying when I say this book is everything from the first chapter. Keep in mind this isnt my book, but it's just so good advertising it was the only thing on my mind. I mean when I tell you that ITS NOT MINEBUT YOU NEED TO READ IT.
