In the beginning of the epilogue, Ave is still traumatised after what Ettore did to her fingers, he replaced them perfectly but she still won't see them amd she always asks for gloves to wear... She is always in her own world, so one time when Ettore came home he found her with her children in the atelier, the kids tried to show her what they painted but she was dissociating. Then, Ettore noticed that Eresmo wasn't there, he began searching for him, and found him in the garden playing with his leopard. Eresmo was crying because Ave couldn't look at him in the face because he is a perfect copy of Ettore and won't call him Haimy, then Ettore was heartbroken and nearly cried because he didn't want his son to feel unloved by Ave. He promised Eres that his mother loves him so much and that he would make her right. So he formed a plan in that moment that they would be going for holidays all of them and that he would change her . And there's a time skip, where Ettore is in his office and watches Ave Maria through the cameras in their bedroom, while she is sleeping with her daughter and their second pair of boy twins.He describes how all her children love her so much and she is the center of their world and then Atlas and Eresmo (they are now ten years old) come to his office so they can learn to torture his Aunt Vittoria
