Habits / Quirks
* Sleeps very little, often keeping watch through the night
* Collects feathers lost from his wings and keeps them hidden
* Talks to the sky when alone
* Hums old celestial hymns without realising it
* Stands in storms whenever possible
Backstory
Once, Caelith was a guardian among the celestial order — a watcher of mortal lives and keeper of fate’s quieter paths. He was devoted, unwavering, until compassion became disobedience.
When a human life hung in the balance, they intervened against divine law. What should have been left to fate was altered by his hand. For that, Caelith fell.
Stripped of rank, cast from the heavens, and marked by broken wings, they were left wandering the mortal world — neither divine nor human, belonging nowhere.
He drifts now through forgotten places, ruins, cities, forests — wherever sorrow lingers strongest. They collect remnants of the world: broken watches, feathers, coins, letters never sent. Small reminders that everything ends.
And yet… despite the bitterness, despite exile, he still looks toward the sky.
Not for forgiveness.
But because some part of them still remembers what it felt like to belong there.
Weaknesses
* Their damaged wings are extremely vulnerable and sensitive.
* Strong emotional environments can overwhelm him.
* The celestial realm still has a tether to him — meaning he can be tracked.
* He struggles with attachment, often pushing people away before they can leave.
